Transportation
Our curriculum places students in community physician’s offices throughout the four years of education. It is important that students recognize that they may be assigned somewhere distant from the Galveston campus, and thus are responsible for securing reliable transportation. Mass transit systems are not well developed in most areas of southeastern Texas, so the student will need access to an automobile.
